The London and South Western Railway page is all lop-sided; the text already there goes into huge detail, but some other topics are not covered at all. It is already a long article. As discussed there in its talk page, I propose to write this London and Southampton Railway article with all the detail of the gestation of the original line, and then to reduce the reference to this phase to a short summary on the LSWR page itself.

Route diagram template edit
There is an unused template showing the company's route: {{London and Southampton Railway}}. I cannot speak to whether it is accurate or would be a useful addition; if no, then I'm going to nominate it for deletion but I thought I'd ask here first. Best, Mackensen (talk) 17:32, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
