@Fisch488: let's chat about what you're trying to do with these new links. There's two kinds of links on Wikipedia. One is called a "wikilink" and looks like this: [[England]]. It has double brackets and links to another article on Wikipedia. We use them throughout our article to point to other relevant topics. The other is called an external link and looks like this: [https://en.wikipedia.org/ Wikipedia]. It has single brackets and links to another site on the internet. We do not put these into our article text. Instead we have an "External links" section at the bottom, which typically has one or two links to the official web page of the organisation that the article is about. What we have there now is what seemed to me the closest there is to an official page for Leyton Orient Women. It's also possible that you were trying to add a citation just to show the source of the information, which I'll let you read more about at WP:CITE. Could you let me know which of these you were trying to do, and we'll figure out how to fix it from there? -- Fyrael (talk) 16:17, 22 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Fisch488: please do not mistake this article for a social media account. Do not add messages from the team or updates about an upcoming game. This article should not contain anything that you would be surprised to find in a printed encyclopedia. -- Fyrael (talk) 13:54, 27 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

The whole concept is a mystery frankly, as is the archaic script used for markup. It's all a bit HTML2 without the development. Anyway, thanks for the feedback but the previous editor used it for propaganda, I have attempted to de-politicise it. Fisch488 (talk) 14:01, 27 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Well I'm happy to see that you worked out how to respond on talk pages. Did you click on that "Learn more about editing" link I put on your talk page? -- Fyrael (talk) 14:22, 27 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
