Why was this redirected from "Chartered Institute of Bankers", which is the proper legal name? Psnae 15:07, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

{{request edit}} Page title

edit

Could the title of this article be altered to 'ifs University College' to reflect the institution being awarded 'university college' status in 2013.

This is no longer necessary as the name has changed once more. Gmseow (talk) 10:33, 27 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Close paraphrasing

edit

This article contains extremely close paraphrasing, so close that it looks like cut-and-paste with minor structural changes, of material on the subjects website, such as About us, Our heritage and ifs Student Investor Challenge, as a quick sample. NebY (talk) 12:59, 9 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Professional body status

edit

As a for-profit company owned by another company, it does not appear that LIBF meets the normal definitions of a professional association as a non-profit membership organisation (e.g. [1], [2]). That there was a chartered professional body is not in doubt, but the charter that established that body passed to LFBF so it is far from clear that LIBF is now a professional body.
