Selfpromo edit

I am not happy with it, but it was necessary to request a protection of this article to stop persistent selfpromo on this article. Half of the article was unsourced selfpromo, added by a Lcrichardson. Over time I have cleaned out the article four times, but every time the unsourced stuff went back in. Even a warning on the talkpage about a conflict of interest, was followed by a revert. Instead of creating a major conflicts with blocks and all, I opted for protection.

The request to solve this is simple:

  1. Please, no selfpromotion
  2. Conform WP:BLP, articles about living persons have to be sourced. Every unsourced section can, when challenged, be removed.

Most of the article was challenged and sources were requested. Unfortunately, the request were bluntly overwritten.

In effect, while the article is protected, I like so see proposals for a new text, but now properly sourced with reliable and independent sources. As Logan Richardson is as famous as he claims, those sources should be there... The Banner talk 19:24, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Edit request edit

The entire childhood section, the last sentence of Early career, and the first sentence of New York years are WP:OR, as I can't see how any source could know these things. In addition, the bit about 9/11 is just trivial. please remove. Also, could the protecting admin please post an appropriate template so newer users know how to proceed if they want an edit? I guess that includes me, as I used the wrong template! Gtwfan52 (talk) 19:33, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

COI edit

The above comments are completely valid, the page was heavily updated by the same name user as the article title. If it is Logan updating, please get to know the WIKI rules on Conflict of Interest and better yet, don't edit your own article. There's a lot of unverified sensationalizing going on in this article. And the stuff about NYC had to be removed- agreed. Also the commercial spam links to his endorser companies. Tjcam (talk) 20:44, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
