I was on the log ride during the Nov 2007 malfunction

edit

The first lift conveyer malfunctioned and after 5-6 restart attempts were made. As a result a safety mechanism intended to prevent the cars from traveling backwards down the conveyor failed. The result was all 3 cars on the conveyor pushed into the cars that had queue up end to end at the bottom to be pushed backwards against the water current resulting the 2 rear-most car to get pushed up out of the log chute causing the occupants of both to fall out into the water. I was in the middle car of the 3 on the conveyor belt when it failed. 2600:6C46:6200:C40:356F:C54:FB44:922B (talk) 12:17, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
