Lead
  • "The song was written by Mars, Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine, and produced by Mark Ronson, Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie and The Smeezingtons"..... you should first establish that Lawrence, Levine, and Mars are The Smeezingtons by adding "of The Smeezingtons" after Levine.
  • "Good sex" is POV, try instead "euphoria from sex"
  • "While others music critics noted the song influences by a number of bands, with The Police being most cited, Mars admitted that he was influenced by the band to write the song" → "While some critics noted influences from various bands, mainly The Police, Mars stated that The Police influenced him to write the song"
  • Remove the hyphen from "top-ten"
Composition and influences
Critical reception
Chart performance
Europe and Oceania
  • Daily Mirror is not a reliable source
Music video
Development and synopsis
  • More MOS:QUOTEMARKS issues to address within quotes and bit on dancing monkeys
  • Remove the commas from "Idolator reviewer, Sam Lansky, wrote"
  • Everything from "Idolator reviewer" to "good one nonetheless" belongs in "reception" section"
Reception
  • This should be expanded by moving the critic's opinions above to here
  • I'm skeptical about "chiff.com"
