Talk:Llangoed Hall

Copyvio removed; not much left edit

Much of this page was a copyvio of http://www.bestloved.com/hotels/hotel-llangoed-hall-in-brecon-powys-wales-uk.php] (click the "more" to expand and get the full content). I have removed everything which is a direct quote from that page. Some of it was contained in mouseovers.

The remainder is information I cannot find on the external links and comes without cited sources. After a lot of hunting, I found a reference to the ghost, but with a completely different name: http://www.iht.com/articles/1994/07/15/ghosts.php .So I am not sure that really supports the current article. We have no criteria for what makes a hotel notable enough for Wikipedia. If no references are forthcoming, I propose to take the article to AfD and let them work it out.

Thank you for removing the blatant advertising. But the place does have merit. Llangoed Hall was originally known as Llangoed Castle, and is marked on OS maps as a castle. It is written to be legendary by several sources on the web, eg. as home of the Welsh Parliament. I am adding it to the category Castles of Radnorshire. Bards 14:04, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

History section edit. edit

I edited the History section because Sir Bernard Ashley did not have brackets.
