McDonald?

edit

Should his really be under McDonald? I'm sure I heard last night (UK), that Liz said she'll remain McDonald, unless that was for "professional" reasons (as that's how she's known in the pub trade)? 217.42.254.177 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 08:35, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

If it is true that Liz said that she would be keeping her surname and not taking Vernon’s, then the article title should be put back to Liz McDonald. — SpikeToronto (talk) 07:31, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

The statement to my recollection was made with regards to the name of landlady above the enterance (in that she didn't want to change it to "Tomlin" as she was known as "McDonald" to punters). However, I neither can recall or confirm from memory whether retaining the name was also legally as well. Maybe an email to duty office could confirm this. She is always credited as "Liz Tomlin" though, and on Corriepedia, the Coronation Street wikia, is stated to be Tomlin, i would think she should be moved back to Liz Tomlin instead. User:Notdoppler 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Departure (2020)

edit

In the episode that aired tonight, 12 August 2020, Steve mentions that Liz has gone away to Spain.[1] This article also mentions that Callard hasn't been on-screen "for a while", I'm not exactly sure how long "a while" is. Does this article confirm that Callard has already left the soap? On 23 March 2020, Callard said that she was supposed to film her final scenes in July 2020.[2] I'm just a bit confused about her departure. I would really appreciate somebody's help here. Thanks. 31.187.4.94 (talk) 22:33, 12 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry I should also mention that there is an article from the Metro that said that she reportedly filmed her final scenes.[3] However, this is according to The Sun. 31.187.4.94 (talk) 22:43, 12 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
