Fair use rationale for Image:LittleFuzzy.jpg edit

Image:LittleFuzzy.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

John Scalzi trying to reboot the series? edit

His secret project of a while ago has been revealed as a reboot of the series. http://whatever.scalzi.com/2010/04/07/the-super-secret-thing-that-i-cannot-tell-you-about-revealed-introducing-fuzzy-nation/

Supposedly with the after-the-writing approval of Piper's estate.

No mention of Fuzzies as inspirations for Ewoks? edit

That seems like it deserves some sort of mention here. PapayaSF (talk) 01:48, 3 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

For that, you need a reliable source. Otherwise its original research. -- Beardo (talk) 03:44, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Similar to . . . edit

This first book sounds rather similar to Les Animaux denatures written by Vercors (aka Jean Bruller) and published in 1953.

Granted the Vercors novel occurs here on Earth (New Guinea specifically) and Little Fuzzy occurs in outer space (the planet Zarathustra); but the basic plot element of a trial to determine if they are human/sentient or just animals is extremely similar.

Any thought to somehow including some reference to the Vercors work in this article? 2600:8800:784:8F00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 11:48, 21 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

For that, too, you need a reliable source. Otherwise it's original research. -- Beardo (talk) 03:45, 7 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sheffield edit

Please do not restore the anecdote about "Kevin Sheffield" unless you can cite a source from before it was added to this article in 2008. Otherwise, we risk citogenesis. Thank you. DS (talk) 18:00, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
