Suggestion

It would be helpful if the table provided some sort of indicator regarding the size or scope of each war. Some sort of statistic such as number of belligerents or number of casualties, for example. Just a suggestion...if any editors have this info. --Lacarids (talk) 04:13, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Clarification

The table shows that, during WW2, Argentina fought against the Axis and with the Allies. But Argentina didn't break relations with the Axis powers until January 26, 1944 and didn't declare war until March 27, 1945. Surely this needs to be clarified. World War II

While Argentina did eventually declare war, to the best of my knowledge this never led to combat involvement. For instance, although Turkey declared war on Germany at the end of the war, it is not considered a combatant for this very reason. Volunteers act on their own initiative, and there may have been volunteers on both sides. I say we leave out WWII, and I'd like to hear what others think. I agree to some extent on the comment ref volunteers, though in the case of Argentina the large British community there produced a large number. But Argentina did, eventually, declare war, which merits a mention. WCM_email 19:10, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

I think it should be moved to the "See also" section, with proper clarification. Argentina was never in a state of war with Nazi Germany, and a symbolic declaration of war when Germany was at the verge of defeat does not change that. In its current shape, the article is misleading.

On a note, someone needs to clarify what role Argentina played in the Chaco War and the Second Paraguayan Civil War. If there was no combat involvement, they need to go. Best, --Mikrobølgeovn (talk) 19:21, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

The Military Dictatorship Disappearence Figure

Hello WCM, sorry I am new to wikipedia and not sure how it works. As for the "edit-war" going on, you are wrong in putting the "30,000" figure. That figure was a made-up figure by an Ex-Montonero, Luis Labraña, as he himself stated on the "Mauro La Pura Verdad" show, on the 21st of December, 2014. Lets talk. The 30,000 figure was actually generated by Amnesty International and is widely quoted, including the source that is currently in the article. It has no relationship to the individual you quoted. That a lower figure was later generated by the Argentine government should also probably be mentioned along with an appropriate source but removing the current material is not an option, it is sourced to a reliable source and is verifiable. You should familiarise yourself with how wikipedia sources it's content, what you did was WP:OR and WP:SYN, which is not acceptable content for wikipedia. WCM_email 17:18, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
