Talk:List of veterinary drugs

Drug naming edit

When posting a drug name, always put the name of the active ingredient first. Putting sodium first, for all the drugs in a sodium form, limits the readability and usability of the page as all those drugs are under S and not where they are expected to be.

Consitency in the list edit

The main style of this list is of a stand alone list. As of today, it contains a list of active ingredients of veterinary (pharmaceutical) drugs, each of which is notable enough to have its own Wikipedia page. Some trade names are included. Most drugs have a short description following the name, which contains a brief summary of what type of drug it is. These descriptions are sentence fragments, and therefore have no following punctuation. I propose to make all items consistent in this fashion, and to remove trade names used only for drugs approved for use in people, but keep trade names of drugs approved for use in animals.
