- Per the WP:LEAD,
In order to qualify for inclusion, each entry must be referred to as a "pyramid" (not just "pyramidal", "pyramid-shaped", or "in the shape of a pyramid") by reliable sources and be at least 50 meters (160 ft) tall.

Ryugong Hotel is more pyramid-shaped than some of the ancient pyramids here; notably, the Cholula pyramid is more of a series of temples constructed on top of eachother than a single pyramidal building. This is also true of Toniná, which is more like a series of stepped constructions in an acropolis:
Notice how it says "groups of temple-pyramids" and not "a pyramid", thus not fulfilling the "strict" requirement. Khufu was first
editThe table in this page says that the pyramid of Khufu was built 10 years after the pyramid of Khafre. I mean the dates are estimates but Khufu was definitely first. Stoveclock (talk) 21:39, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Isn't a pyramid base size important too?
editThis list only lists height and not base length/area or volume, which I would have thought important to a pyramid owner (my pyramid is larger than yours, etc...)
