Where does the Talk discussion go?
editCould someone clarify where one is supposed to discuss the content and possible changes to this page? The above box links to the general Wikilists project, but I cannot find any reference to this Doctor Who special episodes list so am not sure where to post discussion questions/topics about this page... Is it ok to put them here or should it be somewhere else? Alexbowyer (talk) 00:13, 11 March 2015 (UTC)

Two suggestions
editThis is a great page, and I like having it separate from the main Doctor Who serials, but in its current form, it is very hard to use as a viewing guide. I have two suggestions to improve it:
1. Make it clear whether the description belongs to the serial above or below it. At the moment, one has to look up or down to find a description that contains the serial name to find out how whether the sequence is "episode name and info/description" or "description/episode name and info".
2. Indicate how these serials fit in chronologically with the main episodes. Ideally, one would like to watch the entire canon in sequence - the original airdates are not really sufficient for this, because they require keeping both lists handy to cue up episodes. Having the original airdate of only the extra gives us no context for the extra. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.119.253.140 (talk) 20:07, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
- It is extremely obvious that the descriptions belong to the item above it; i.e. each row's description is below the episode information. And Wikipedia policy declares we list things such as this by out-of-universe details; we list by the important features of the episodes off-show (like, in this case, the date), not by in-universe details of when they happened "in canon". I kindly recommend that you rush up on your knowledge of Wikipedia Policy before requesting such edits. Thank you. Alex|The|Whovian 00:48, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
- this is why I don't like wiki. the guy is only trying to help, but because he is an IP he gets attacked. most people don't KNOW policy - Don't assume that they do and are tryng to ruin wiki. 2.216.250.174 (talk) 21:45, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
Web series?
editIs there a place on this page for web series such as "Scream of the Shalka"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bflaminio (talk • contribs) 21:03, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

Friend from the Future
edit@AlexTheWhovian: Hello. You said that the episode wasn't aired on TV. It was, I watched it live.
"Announced in a two minute video “Friend From The Future” during half-time of tonight’s Match of the Day on BBC One" [1]
"The casting was announced on BBC One, during half time of the FA Cup Semi-Final, with 5.3 million viewers watching at the time." [2]
I would consider it a mini-episode, not a prequel. I'm not insisting, just trying to understand. Intyre (talk) 16:39, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- It's a trailer, and the BBC news page states it is a clip from a future episode, so it is not a prequel or mini-episode.

- Well, the official DW site called it a scene from a future episode, so I got confused when some people started calling it a separate mini-episode or prequel or whatever. I suppose we'll find out when an actual episode airs. Intyre (talk) 18:42, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, just a scene, according to DWM. [3] Intyre (talk) 21:42, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Apologies, I thought it was released online rather then televised. In that case, it should be listed under televised broadcasts as a special, and listed as the Series 10 page as such as well, since it was aired as a special, no matter the original format. Alex|The|Whovian? 22:59, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, just a scene, according to DWM. [3] Intyre (talk) 21:42, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- Personally, I don't mind (the more minisodes, the better), I'm just don't familiar enough with the policies, so I don't know if it's appropriate thing to do. Up to you lot here. Intyre (talk) 11:22, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- It appears now that Friend from the Future is a special mini-episode after all, and it won't be used in S10 episodes. [4] Intyre (talk) 18:30, 28 July 2016 (UTC)

25 (Prequel to “Silver Nemesis”)
editHi there, I'm looking for more information on the mini-episode “25” which is supposed to be a prequel to “Silver Nemesis”. In particular, I can't find any source that confirms the existence of that episode nor can I find the episode itself anywhere. Does anybody know of any Dr. Who release that includes this specific mini-episode? Dynam1te3 (talk) 23:35, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
- Maybe is there an alternate title that I can google? -- Dynam1te3 (talk) 23:41, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
