Talk:List of ski resorts in the German Central Uplands

Title of the article edit

I suggest changing the title of the article. The Black Forest, Bavarian Forest, Harz, Swabian Jura and some other regions mentioned in the article are anything but "central". "List of non-alpine German ski resorts" would be a better title.Johnny2323 (talk) 15:54, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

The German Central Uplands is a defined geographical region which absolutely covers those ranges - see the article. The term "central" means situated between the North German Plain and the Alpine Foreland. The German article has the same name. --Bermicourt (talk) 16:03, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I thought much the same as Johnny2323 but found that it is talk says. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Deutschland_topo.jpg which shows the Northern plain and the great belt of the Central Highlands nicely, or Natural_regions_of_Germany for a blow by blow account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.3.255.103 (talk) 23:00, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
