Bavarian pine vole edit

Why is the Bavarian pine vole listed here? --Aranae 16:35, 23 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • If you see the parent page mammals discovered in the 2000s, I've included animals that have been rediscovered in the last few years, after being declared, or seriously suspected to be, extinct. I've used a similar kind of criteria to Karl Shuker's book The Lost Ark, which chronicles animal discoveries of the 20th Century. Petemella 16:56, 23 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cryptids? edit

How does this page qualify as part of the cryptozoology project? Which of these animals is or was a cryptid? --Aranae 19:09, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The project seems to have attached itself to anything previously unknown and then discovered.--tronvillain (talk) 17:01, 4 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Missing edit

Where are Delicate Deermouse (2002), Mantiqueira Atlantic Tree-rat (2003), and Habromys schmidlyi (2005)? --Compance (talk) 19:33, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not on this list (and neither are numerous others). It even omits a species that was described in the same work as three others that are listed (Mesomys occultus). Also, one species that is listed is no longer considered valid (Oryzomys andersoni). User:Ucucha/List of mammals/Rodentia is up to date (though I have to review a few very recent sources), and should list all species described since 2000, though of course they are not separated from the rest. External links modified edit

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Rodents described in the 2000s. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
