The word, "basin"
A basin is a vessel for holding water, not for shedding it. I'd prefer to see the term "watershed" used in favor of "drainage basin". Besides, the latter sounds rather filthy. 172.56.27.192 (talk) 03:10, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Merge?
Why does this other page, which is mostly just a content fork of this page, exist separately? And the two pages seem to have co-existed for close to two decades now. UnpetitproleX (talk) 19:40, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

- Oh, just saw the AfD nom from 2007. But that was when the other article was “Rivers of India” and this one a list. Now they’re both lists. UnpetitproleX (talk) 19:49, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
