I don't particularly think that Mars Volta songs are "unboundedly" long in any sense and think these should be removed, unless you refer to the improvisiational aspect at shows. Shaikoten 21:58, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I think that the majority of the "Non-repeating predictable" list is superfluous. While the songs are literally unbounded, it's certainly not uncommmon for a song to have an ending instrumental sequence that can be extended to any arbitrary length. From what I can see, pretty much any song that has an instrumental fadeout would be eligible for that list. To say the least, that's a big list. While we're at it, let's add every blues and jazz standard that ends when you get tired of jamming.ASWilson 05:22, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Proposed Deletion

I contest Chardish's claim that this article meets the criteria for deletion under Wikipedia's "not an indiscriminate collection of information" policy. The policy covers FAQs, travel guides, memorials, instruction manuals, internet guides, textbooks & annotated text, plot summaries, and lyrics databases, saying that these are not valid uses for Wikipedia. However, this article does not fall into any of those categories. If Chardish or any other user feels that this article meets any of Wikipedia's criteria for deletion, please state those concerns and follow the AfD policy. » K i G O E | talk 01:27, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Please don't delete this page. As the orignial author says, many of the songs listed are traditional songs, so there wouldn't be a reference for them.

Rather than a "Non-repeating predictable" song, isn't this an incrementing repeatable song? In other words, the opposite of 10 Green Bottles.

Around the Corner

I don't know which category this belongs in, or even if the categories are useful or meaningful. "Around the corner, and under a tree, a sargeant-major, once said to me, will you marry me, I would like to know, 'cause every time I look at your face it makes me want to be... (repeat infinitely from beginning, but each time add another repetition of the phrase "I look at your face" until someone makes a mistake, then all disolve into laughter). This song has been around for at least three generations to my knowledge.
