Per discussion from the talk page of the 2021 execution list, there is no need to have a table of the scheduled execution list on this page. It can be found at List of people scheduled to be executed in the United States. It is not necessary to have two pages listing the same thing. Furthermore, it's confusing having it above the demographic section which is for the executed people only. Per Wikipedia terms: the tables should also be blank and have no color coding. Use the term "people" over "offender" for Wikipedia:NPOV. Inexpiable (talk) 17:34, 27 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

To further evaluate on this I actually think the scheduled executions stuff can be removed entirely, including the stuff from the lead. This page is specifically about executions that have occurred, not ones that may or may not occur. That info can be found at List of people scheduled to be executed in the United States. There is no need to list it here as well. Inexpiable (talk) 18:41, 6 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

I only edited those pages to get rid of the unnecessary colors and make the tables more accessible to those using screen readers. However, I think your rationale is correct—we shouldn't be duplicating information like this across pages. My one criticism is that the "See also" template should be placed directly below the section header, like this.

I don't have any problems with these changes at all. I also agree it seems a bit pointless to have the information effectively duplicated in two different lists. Damien Linnane (talk) 23:28, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
