Misleading calculation edit
The entry for HD 140283 correctly states that the reference indicates an estimated age of 14.46 billion years and an uncertainty of 0.8 billion, but then adds "(minimum 13.66)". The scientific standard is 5 sigma which in this case gives a credible minimum of 14.46-5*0.8=10.46 billion years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GeorgeDishman (talk • contribs) 12:57, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

List order edit
Oldest first seems like the way to go in a list of oldest stars. Least oldest first is essentially meaningless, since it is just the least oldest that made it to the least. The oldest star (according to this list) is lost somewhere in the middle of the table. Lithopsian (talk) 15:25, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
- Second, this is weird and should be fixed. Also, why do half of them use "Gy" and half "billion years"? This says that they're identical, and it should probably be standardized.--Kalethan (talk) 06:39, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
