proposed move? edit
What input could I receive regarding the possible move of this article to List of minor characters in the Babylon 5 universe, much in the same vein of: List of minor characters in the Firefly universe? — pd_THOR | =/\= | 22:21, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, if you have a look at the category, "Lists of fictional characters by series", the most common format is "List of X characters", followed by "List of characters from X", and there's only four lists that mention "universe" in the title. The "list of X characters" seems to be the most concise format - of course, if there's a policy or something about this that everyone's just ignored, I'd appreciate knowing about it. Cheers! - No, I don't think there's a policy or anything that I'm aware of. Not that I'm going to look around at the moment for either. But the difference with the "universe" specification is that w/o it the article is confined to minor characters in the Babylon 5 show alone; w/the specification would include minor characters from Crusade and the impending straight-to-DVD? series, and the TV movies, etc. And since they're all interconnected in the general fictional universe, they could all be consolidated in this one article. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 00:15, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, yeah, I see your point. Still, if you compare this to List of Star Trek characters or List of Star Wars characters, there's no reason why we can't simply mention at the top that it includes all characters in the whole Babylon 5 franchise, including spinoffs. I'm happy to list Crusade chars here - I think the title "List of minor characters in the Babylon 5 universe" is a bit unwieldy, but that's just my personal opinion.
