Removal of (o)'s from entries

I would prefer to see the (o) removed from many of the roots, as the O is used more for connecting root parts together and isn't usually part of the root itself. --98.203.241.55 (talk) 17:39, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

But the (o) is part of the root indeed, just a variation of the root for combining to affixes that don't end with a vowel. Some roots (e.g., bil/i or chol/e, both meaning "bile") don't combine to affixes with an "o."

If you're suggesting that we remove only the (o)s, and not the outliers, then it will just cause confusion as to which vowel to use to combine most of the roots to a vowel-less affix. Lilglocky (talk) 19:57, 12 July 2023 (UTC)

Sortable lists

Title Revision

The title is longer than it needs to be. We could simplify it by naming it "List of medical roots and affixes." Lilglocky (talk) 19:37, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
