Lists of mathematics topics is officially a Featured List.
List of mathematics topics is not. It was a redirect page to list of mathematics articles until a few minutes ago. After someone moved the featured page to
lists of mathematics topics, ("lists" is plural!),
someone edited the page at Wikipedia:Featured lists so that the featured list was called
list of mathematics topics ("list" is singular!),
which was never a featured list, but was a redirect page to a non-featured list. Then apparently someone noticed the non-featured nature of that page and deleted the link altogether from Wikipedia:Featured lists.
The error stood for almost seven months! So we need to keep this a disambiguation page, not a redirect. Michael Hardy 02:14, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposal: Redirect this page to Lists of mathematics topics edit

In its current form, this disambiguation page seems unnecessary. It links to just two articles: Lists of mathematics topics and List of mathematics articles. Since the first of these articles has a name very similar to this one AND has a prominent link to List of mathematics articles in the first paragraph, I see no purpose in keeping this disambiguation page. Why not send people directly to Lists of mathematics topics? --Orlady (talk) 16:31, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
