What about the Glenwood Spring Pool in Glenwood Colorado? IT is 405' by 100', making it almost nearly an acre. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.100.139.245 (talk) 20:59, 10 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Why are some pools -- Astoria, McCarren -- commented out? Geoff Canyon (talk) 22:53, 29 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Swimming Pools for Idiots, 101 edit

People who lack for intellect to sufficiently differentiate basic objects, should never be afforded self-entitlement to edit this resource. Case in point: The Pacific Ocean is not a swimming pool, any more than would be Hansen Dam, in Lake View Terrace, California. I'm sorry, humblemost apologies to you, no gentle way of putting this, Hansen Dam is not (NOT) a swimming pool. It is a flood control basin!

FYI: Dams, rivers, oceans, ponds, estuaries, flood control basins, or mass wasting impounds are not (NOT!!!!!) swimming pools. Get it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.136.128.87 (talk) 21:29, 13 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

There is a public, fresh-water swimming pool in Cranston, RI, United States that is at least 20,000 sq. feet in surface area. The city website lists its dimensions here: "Budlong Pool: Located in the Eden Park section of Cranston, the Budlong Pool is one of the largest outdoor pools in the country, measuring 260 feet by 80 feet and holding over 1 million gallons of water." (http://199.204.253.17/generalpage.php?page=64) if someone would like to add it to the list or source additional information.

Pool to add to list? edit

Kosciuszko Pool in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn is 23,000 sq. feet, according to the NYC City Parks website: https://www.nycgovparks.org/parks/kosciuszko-pool/facilities/outdoor-pools/kosciuszko-pool. That should make it large enough to make this list 141.155.150.135 (talk) 20:24, 1 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
