Talk:List of largest ferries of Europe

Tonnage edit

In which units are the tonnages listed, gross tons, gross register tons or something else? Also, if the amounts have been copied from various Wiki articles, I have to point out some articles list the tonnage in GRT and some in GT (and contrary to the popular belief, those two aren't the same thing). --Kjet 10:17, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Which ferries should be included? edit

Another thing... there should probably be some kind of a guideline on which size of ships should be included on the list. A minimum tonnage/lenght/passenger capacity requirement before a ship would be included on the list. -- Kjet 12:11, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Europe? edit

Why only Europe's largest have their list? Just checked the category 'Lists of ferries' and there was not any other "Largest ferries of..." than this. At least one would be suitable: 'Largest ferries of the world'. Or is it really so hard to get facts from elsewhere around the world? I don't think there is no ferries outside Europe, otherwise this article could be named 'of the world'. 82.141.125.149 (talk) 04:30, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in List of largest ferries of Europe edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of largest ferries of Europe's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
