Georgia story to track edit

So far, it's not a killing, but "critical condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen" is a situation that could change in a few days. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/05/04/ga-sheriff-accused-shooting-woman/26858159/ http://www.11alive.com/story/news/local/lawrenceville/2015/05/03/clayton-county-sheriff-victor-hill-shooting/26846905/

Manhattan story to track edit

This should wind up in the table as a killing or in a separate table below as a known erroneous report...we should find out in follow-up stories as the situation continues to develop.

Date Name (Age) of Deceased State (City) Description
05/13/2015 Baril, David (30) New York (Manhattan/NYC) Police responded to reports of a man trying to hit a female officer with a hammer. He was shot and taken to a local hospital. Initial reports said the man was dead on arrival, but authorities later backtracked on that report.[1]

Case to watch edit

Marcus Clark, 26, a suspect in FL gas station robbery died in custody just after arrest. Details are unclear: it could be from injuries resulting from arrest or it might have been a drug OD. Autopsy pending. [1] [2] If cause of death refers to arrest-related injuries, he should be added. --ProtectorServant (talk) 14:06, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
