One man on the list, Samuel Benton Callahan, was a justice on the supreme court of the Creek Nation (before Oklahoma became a state). He should not be included here. There is another, Clinton F. Irwin, who was a justice on the Oklahoma Territory Supreme Court, which ceased to exist at the time of statehood. It likes only justices who served since statehood should be on these lists. After looking at references for Joseph A. Gill, there is no indication he served on the Supreme Court, either before or after statehood. He was appointed Federal Justice for the Northern District of Indian Territory in 1899, and continued serving until statehood, when the position was abolished. I have removed Gill from this list.
