All three deltoids/parts of the deltoid aren't external rotators? They all move the arm away from the body.--50.201.195.170 (talk) 19:43, 6 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi IP (please feel free to create an account if you feel comfortable!) I've had a look at Gray's Anatomy and it does agree with what this article says, ie. only the anterior fibres are involved. You can check out the article deltoid muscle which has some good coloured diagrams relating to the parts of the deltoid to have a look at why this is the case anatomically. Thanks. ( Still confused. Wikipedia currently says the deltoid is an external rotator and the anterior deltoid is an internal rotator. Looked at the colored diagrams. Still don’t get it. I suppose it all depends on the initial arm position and maybe that’s what I have wrong. But its not important. I’ll leave it as is; don’t feel obliged to reply. --50.201.195.170 (talk) 09:32, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
