List of inflammed body part states → ? – List was created by me following a move from a list within {{Inflammation}} and discussion at WP:TFD. However I'm scratching my head about what a succinct name to describe this list, which is essentially times when 'itis' is used to describe a condition. I think my temporary title could be improved. Some thoughts:

  • List of conditions ending in -itis
  • List of inflammed body parts
  • List of inflammatory conditions this would not be correct as we'd have to include lots of types of vasculitis - just putting it here in case someone suggests this.

Thanks for your ideas / opinions... Tom (LT) (talk) 10:59, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Hmmmm (scratching head) I can see the intention but it's not a logical list I'd see in medicine (as opposed to List of inflammatory disorders). it reminds me of something like, "countries with the union jack on their flag" or something. I think it does make sense to broaden it as it is currently arbitrary. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 10:41, 23 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • I think moving to List of inflammatory disorders, with an expansion to cover all inflammatory disorders about which there is a WP article, is the best bet. I don't believe that it's Tom's duty to expand the article just because he correctly identified a bad template and TFD discussion resulted in the moving to this page - so he shouldn't feel like the incompleteness of this as List of inflammatory disorders is his fault/responsibility to fix (unless he wants to). Regardless, the material that was before in the template needs a home, and that title makes the most logical sense for when it ends up being complete, and this is a good start. -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez (User/say hi!) 23:02, 23 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
