what are the related disease on the infection of the central nervous system?

I plan to move this page to list of central nervous system infections, change formatting somewhat, and make the list of diseases more specific.(example;I will remove the page encephalitis, from the list, as this is to vague, and replace it with more specific types of encephalitis, such as west nile encephalitis, herpes simplex encephalitis, and so on) Immunize (talk) 20:25, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- I agree that this article should be moved to "....infections". But I am concerned that red links are being created because of simple spelling mistakes, (see History). Graham Colm (talk) 21:18, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- In looking at the history of this article and the List of central nervous system infections article, I'm not sure what has happened, but it seems to me like this page should reside at List of central nervous system infections (plural). - I can't fathom what Immunize has done this time, but the article should be plural and reside at List of central nervous system infections, or better still List of infections of the central nervous system (a red link I know). Merge proposal edit

- Currently the section seems to duplicate content and have exactly the same scope. Probably either is missing some list items that the other so merging them would make them more complete and make it easier to maintain as only one place needs to get changed for additions&edits.
- All the content should be merged into List of infections of the central nervous system#Viral and then transcluded to the section you linked via Template:Excerpt. Prototyperspective (talk) 10:20, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
