"Colonial North America" or "British" Colonial North America edit

There might be some consideration that if there are separate articles on the various colonial efforts in North America that each article have in it's title the mother country to eliminate the unconscious cultural viewpoint that the only colonial era history in North America automatically is that of the British colonies rather than of any others. And if there are not at present articles of "List of incidents of civil unrest in [THE APPORPRIATE MOTHER COUNTRY] Colonial North America" of the various colonial efforts in North America may very well be based on the as yet areas to be studied and published.

There are incidents of civil unrest in California North America colonialism during the Mexican administration whereby the locals or Californios on various occasions disputed governorship imposed upon from above rather than elevated from within the local population. I could take only so many history courses in North American colonial era history76.170.88.72 (talk) 05:35, 20 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

slave revolts edit

This has some more info, and it is very conservative about what is said, quite scholarly I guess.
