It stands for "Oklahoma Tribal Statistical Area" where the the area used to be an Indian Reservation and now it isn't but the for the tribes in Oklahoma, those are then used as the Tribe's service areas. In Oklahoma, officially there is only one Indian Reservation: Osage Indian Reservation. In some ways it is like the Tribal Desiginated Statistical Areas (TDSAs), yet in other ways like the State Desiginated American Indian Statistical Areas (SDAISAs) but in other ways functions much like the State Desiginated American Indian Reservations (SDAIRs) and Federally Designated American Indian Reservations (IRs).
