Split out Somerset West sites edit

Somerset West is a suburb of Cape Town, Stellenbosch is not. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 11:26, 14 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I will split out List of heritage sites of the Helderberg area for Somerset West, Strand and Gordon's Bay and rename the remainder to List of heritage sites of Stellenbosch. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 13:11, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Reverted version factually incorrect edit

Tom.Reding, I assume you did not notice that your reversion to fix page syntax has made the article factually incorrect? Somerset West and Strand are not in the same district as Stellenbosch, They are currently part of the City of Cape Town, which is why I made the split. Somerset West and Srand were in Stellenbosch district decades ago, if I remember correctly, but have not been for a long time. Are you planning to correct this? Cheers, · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 13:24, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Pbsouthwood: no, I'm not planning on fixing it. I assumed you would instead redo your change, but without breaking the page syntax. It's complicated, but that's no excuse for sloppy editing. If you're unable to do so, let me know and I'll try instead.   ~ Tom.Reding (talkdgaf)  13:32, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Tom.Reding, OK, I will try again. I did not notice that it was broken at the tine since the damage was a long way down the page and I was not expecting it or I may have been interrupted by a power outage. I did not want to get into edit conflicts if you were planning to do it. Cheers, · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 13:39, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Seems to be fixed now. Let me know if you find any more problems. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 14:34, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
