Uruguay
editCurrently listed as having 3 Uruguay class frigates, ex-French. Uruguay has 3 frigates, but 2 are Portuguese modifications (Joao Belo) of a French class (Cmte. Rivere) & only 1 is a member of the unaltered French class. None, afaik, are considered Uruguay class (although the ROU 01 Uruguay is the flagship of the fleet). If there's a Spanish-language source for the "class" distinction for these three ships, please add the source here and edit the material Military of Uruguay and National Navy of Uruguay pages. Atrevida class - 6 ships (Armada Española)
editAtrevida class, also called Descubierta class (1955)** was ASW corvettes, no frigates:
**Atrevida, second ship of the class, was modernized, the last four class ships were built with Atrevida modernized project, but Descubierta, the leader of the class, wasn´t modernized.
