Indians vs Indian Americans

I feel like this article is a weird mix of Indian (from India) and American (native American) politicians. I think they should be separated into Politicians of Indian descent and Politicians of Native American descent. Missing Prakash Narain, M.D., Indian-American mayor of City of Cypress, from this list

I'm not sure how to add this line to the list. The information can be verified by the City Clerk at the Cypress City Hall in Cypress, California, and through several articles published over the last 8 years. Please advise or add the following for me:

Since this is Wikipedia, you can do it yourself! However, if the person does not already have a biographical article on Wikipedia, then you should not add them (because this list is a list of Wikipedia articles). Also, if that person does have a Wikipedia article, but it does not specifically mention that they are of Indian origin, then it would raise the question of providing an appropriate reference for that piece of information.
