That's certainly not the practice followed on other articles of this nature, such as List of Chinese flags etc. AnonMoos (talk) 09:22, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- The name of the article is the reason. Flags that are not or were not official flags of Iraq, are not "flags of Iraq". The title "List of Chinese flags" isn't denoting a country, "List of flags of Iraq" denotes a country. \//\ - 09:35, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- Well, that's more reasoning than you've ever given for your deletions on Flag of Iraq (where your argumentation has never really amounted to much more than WP:JUSTDONTLIKEIT), but it's still placing an extreme emphasis on very subtle semantic nuances, which may not bear the weight that you're trying to place on them.
