This article does seem ridiculas, however, it has the potential to be a very interesting article. Perhaps it would be better named something like List of Females in the Fortune 500

Why is there not a male version yet a female version exists? That is clear sexually bias. Skinnyweed 16:19, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Lighten up. (and this was left by a man)

The reason that there is only the "female version" of the article is because everyone knows or is supposed to know that as of now most CEOs, of at least the Fortune 500s, are males. Since female CEOs are so few, it's a topic of interest and many websites list the names of women CEOs in the same context. If any website were to give a shot at listing ALL the male CEOs, it would get quite ridiculous, why dont you give it a shot?!

Should these entries be listed in any order? Such as alphabetical by last name? Killer Swath (talk) 21:45, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I will add the following lines :

"Thailand has the highest proportion of female CEOs in the world, followed by the People's republic of China.

30 percent of companies in Thailand employ female CEOs, while 19 percent of companies in China employ female CEOs. The world average is 8 percent. (The figure for the US is 5 percent, while the EU is 9 percent)"
