Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page edit

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \barmy-technology\.com\b on the local blacklist

If you would like me to provide more information on the talk page, contact User:Cyberpower678 and ask him to program me with more info.

From your friendly hard working bot.—cyberbot II NotifyOnline 11:49, 3 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.—cyberbot II NotifyOnline 22:01, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protected edit request on 31 March 2017 edit

Please remove the PRC flag next to the Al-Khalid and Al-Zarrar tanks. The Pakistani flag is the only one that should be there as it is the only country that produces these specific standards of the tank, other countries have helped in some aspects however the tanks are of indigenous Pakistani manufacture and origin. 85.154.166.84 (talk) 16:53, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Declined. This has been discussed before. Those tanks are jointly produced by both China and Pakistan. Please provide reliable references that state that the tank is sourced and built without any Chinese components. Adamgerber80 (talk) 18:26, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Al-Khalid Tank edit

While it has been established there has been cooperation between China and Pakistan in the development of tanks its mostly at the unofficial level, and probably limited to the development of subsystems not tanks as a whole. The Al-khalid tanks in service with Pakistan are very different than the MBT-2000's in service with Morocco. While Joint-ventures like the JF-17 have both countries scoring an export order together, its not the same thing here. The Al-Khalid and MBT-2000 tanks are not inter-operable, they are fundamentally different tanks. A tank built by China does not have a joint work-share agreement with Pakistan, and vice versa. The Al-Khalid tanks are not listed under the manufacturer's website under the Joint-Venture product list. http://www.hit.gov.pk/product.html While it is also important to note that HIT is developing upgraded variants of the Tank like Al-khalid 1 and 2 independently without the apparent joint development deal with Norinco. An example of a jointly developed tank would be this, which the Al-Khalid and MBT-2000 are not. https://www.upi.com/Defense-News/2017/05/12/Jointly-developed-Indonesian-Turkish-tank-makes-debut/8881494581101/ While it is understandable why some media has listed the tanks as the same, it is best we go by the manufacturer's categorization which has it listed as a independently developed product. China does not manufacture nor was involved in the development of the Al-Zarrar and Al-Khalid tanks DIRECTLY.

There is a discussion which is going on Talk:Al-Khalid_tank#Un-merge_Al-Khalid_and_MBT-2000.3F. Please reply there. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 18:09, 27 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Removal of the section 'Utility & Support Vehicles' edit

Hi guys.. the 'Utility & Support Vehicles' section on this article needs expansion and the current entries are mostly outdated. Expansion of this section requires 'reliable sources' which are too few in number. Given the vast inventory of these vehicles armies have in general, and their classification as not weapons, I propose the removal of this section from the article. It, however, depends on consensus. --Maxx786 (talk) 15:04, 5 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Maxx786 I agree with this. In the absence of reliable sourced this section can be removed. Adamgerber80 (talk) 16:40, 6 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request for updates edit

This article should be updated with latest equipments as shown in the official Pakistan Army military parade 23-March-2018 (Pak Resolution Day). Source: https://www.dawn.com/news/1397042/nation-celebrates-pakistan-day-2018-with-military-parade-gun-salutes & https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/pakistan/army-equipment.htm Mtkhan1989 (talk) 05:35, 24 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please be very specific with your requests. Also, global security is not really a reliable source for this page. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 13:51, 24 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

One of the biggest army without having "Utility & Transport Vehicles"? This section should also add in this page with upgraded equipment. Mtkhan1989 (talk) 08:15, 1 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
