Licenses and OS edit

All the data recovery softwares could be listed with (at least) their licenses and operating system, just like any other list of software. Darkshoyu (talk) 08:53, 16 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Drive Rescue edit

Although it is now discontinued, Drive Rescue remains one of the most reliable data recovery software for Windows. It allowed me to recover most of the content of my USB Hard Drive after it had fallen down and crashed against the floor. None of several other freeware programs that I tried succeeded in doing that. Furthermore, it got a very high rating in the few sites where it is still listed. I think it is important to mention Drive Rescue in this entry. However, some users seem to disagree and remove this entry when it appears. Any explanation? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Steinpilz (talkcontribs) 13:58, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Data Rescue _" (for the Mac) - which category? edit

Subject line says it all.
Which category would "Data Rescue II", "Data Rescue 3" go into? {2's UPC is: 7-94038-25100-7}

Lots of spam. HALP! edit

This page seems to be a continuous link dump with several editors continuing to add more and more links to data recovery software. Can we get this locked and/or cleaned up? Thx. 76.121.138.201 (talk) 05:56, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to have a list of "free" or "open scource" data recovery, please change the title of this page in "List of free/open source data recovery software" . If you want to have a complete list of data recovery software you have to add/allow commercials entries too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.192.195.117 (talk) 13:06, 1 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
