Order edit
The order of this table isn't apparent to the reader. It seems to be close to https://unstats.un.org/unsd/methodology/m49/overview/ but the reason for that order eludes me. I propose the table be ordered by the first column (country/region). I'd be OK with using another column but that table should at least be ordered by one of its columns. Geoscheme edit
There should be a column with the corresponding regions per countries, this is only a list of countries — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drizzdo (talk • contribs) 13:59, 22 August 2019 (UTC)

Ampersand edit
Should the '/' be '&' or just 'and' in the subregion 'Latin America and the Caribbean / North America'? Wightowl (talk) 16:45, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
- I think '/' is the least confusing while 'and' would be the most confusing: "Latin America and the Caribbean and North America" could be three regions to the unsuspecting. Because '&' is often read as 'and', I think '/' is better. An angle bracket could be used to match the numeric code syntax in the "UNSD M49 Codes" column, but "Latin America and the Caribbean > North America" seems odd to me.DRMcCreedy (talk) 18:10, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
- I agree with DRMcCreedy, but if it needs a change, another option is to have Subregion span two columns, and have a split column for the Sub-Subregion's Caribbean & Central America. --Moedk (talk) 03:50, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
- I like the idea of two subregion columns. It would avoid any confusion. DRMcCreedy (talk) 17:01, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
