Could the phrase " Despite its origin and inherent flaws it is very widespread." in the "notes" section of the table ... could that be explained? It smacks of judgment ("Despite its origin" -- What; Did a hate-group invent it? ), and a priori knowlege ("inherent flaws").
Not well written for the layperson.
