Techland is another Polish Company, specifically a video game developer and publisher within the software business. Their headquarters are in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland. List is very misleading

Most of the mentioned companies are either part of, or bought out, by investment groups or other entities.

Just a few examples - Biedronka is owned by Portuguese Jerónimo Martins, Hortex by British Mid-Europa Partners, Wedel by South Korean Lotte Group and the list goes on.

Maybe add to the legend another colour to show which is owned by foreign investors, and which companies are actually Polish? 86.121.117.87 (talk) 20:33, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

Ownership structures can get really complicated. I think I used the notes column to annotate when there was a clean owner-subsidiary relationship (and where the subsidiary was still treated as a "company"); feel free to add more. The list just shows which companies have a headquarters in the country, or where there is a significant subsidiary with a clear regional headquarters. There are larger problems when the companies are private, and the ownership structures are not really covered in reliable sources. I get your point - I think most people would be surprised at the international spiderwebs of control and ownership; I just struggle with a simple way to annotate that.
