I am going to be busy and will be offline for at least a week. When I am back I will start to remove anything not sourced to an RS calling it a commando or SF's formation.Slatersteven (talk) 11:45, 25 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'd suggest limiting the article to only units which RS call "commando" units. Commandos are a type of special forces (e.g., elite light infantry), and the term doesn't encompass all special forces. For instance, reconnaissance units and units which operate in small stealthy parties are not commandos. Nick-D (talk) 11:42, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

UK Parachute regiment addition reverted.

edit

The addition of the UK Parachute regiment doesn't have a source supporting it being a commando unit. I ask that the editor who keeps re-adding it to gain consensus on talk (per WP:BRD), and provide a source which says that unit, specifically, is one. Finding a definition, and then deciding that the Paras conform to it, is WP:SYNTHESIS. (Hohum @) 15:09, 20 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

USAF 1ST AIR COMMANDOS

edit

I guess you never saw us come in or leave. I'll bet you never even knew we existed. I'd like to keep it that way. Focus on the SQUEALS (S.E.A..L.s), Recon and SF) Let them have the stage and be the targets.

Commandos really don't want you to know who they are, what they are, or what they do.
