The total losses per airframe (35) is less than the number described by the sections in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.168.144.127 (talk) 04:13, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

This list isn't complete. We lost Iowa Army National Guardsman in 2 different helicopter accidents. Everyone killed on both aircraft. 70.39.18.83 (talk) 04:40, 9 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

gg edit

There was a lot more shooting down in Kosovo war except these two. More than 300 drones, aircrafts and choppers end their career in Serbia. Циган са улице (talk) 11:59, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

No planes shot down in Iraq or Afghanistan? edit

An E-11A was shot down in January 2020. Chinooks have been shot down. Another report says up 375 Helicopters lost in Iraq and Afghanistan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jezarnold (talkcontribs)

Feel free to add them if they are properly sourced per WP:RS. However, I think you will find that most of these instances are classified as operational accidents by the U.S. military, claims by militant groups notwithstanding, with no independent witnesses. WP:RS edit

@Redjacket3827: I say those aren't WP:RS, you need to show that they are in order to use them. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 19:50, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

No Joebaugher or aerialvisuals? In some cases those are the only cite ref for the aircraft in question. However, you have a valid point. No fansites. Will research for better ones. Redjacket3827 (talk) 19:52, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
If those are the only cites then its not due for coverage on wikipedia. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 19:54, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I note that I'm almost positive that real sources can be found for any combat losses of United States military aircraft since the Vietnam War, this is why I removed the fansites but not in general the text. Perhaps they won't feature tail numbers (that seems to be Joebaugher's niche) but they will be covered. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 20:01, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

vandalism edit

Someone seems to had edited most of the descriptions saying they were shot down. This is wrong, most of these were malfunctions. Pls someone fix 174.199.68.213 (talk) 14:44, 15 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
