Florida League of Cities edit
The Florida League of Cities is the association that all Cities, Towns and Villages of Florida belong to. Why is a link to the League inappropriate? The South Carolina page has a link to the Municipal Association of South Carolina.Inkan1969 (talk) 18:26, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Merger Discussion edit
It is my thought that List of towns and villages in Florida and List of cities in Florida should be merged together into a new page entitiled List of municipalities in Florida (or perhaps list of incorporated areas) with redirections from the old pages. There is no legal difference between a city, town, villages, Hamlet, or whatever else you want to name your city in Florida, so why should we segregate them? Frank0051 (talk) 17:49, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
- Support - there is no legal distinction between towns, cities, etc. under Florida law, and thus the naming is basically arbitrary. A list should focus on DEFINING features of the objects within them. If there is no difference between a town and a city, then there is no reason to separate them for the reader or organize them as if they are different. かんぱい！ Scapler (talk) 23:07, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

- Support - if someone is looking for a particular named location in Florida, they shouldn't have to refer to multiple lists to find it. Tennessee is organized in this manner. Mgrē@sŏn 20:51, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
