There are more breweries and more links to their websites to add. Please help if you know them. Thanks. (Thebensteads 08:40, 3 September 2007 (UTC))Reply

Inclusion criteria?

edit

I propose we follow Wikipedia:Notability (breweries) for the inclusion criteria here.

Minimally, each entry has to be verifiable. To avoid WP:NOTDIRECTORY, WP:NOTADVERTISING, and WP:NPOV problems, each entry without it's own article should be verified by independent, reliable sources. --Ronz (talk) 16:42, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

@Ânes-pur-sàng: I wanted to point out this section of the talk page and my changes to your proposal for inclusion criteria. While we can be flexible, Wikipedia is not a directory of links, so the criteria of having their own website is inappropriate, as is linking it. --Ronz (talk) 23:16, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
A winner of a major annual Scottish competition or where the brewery has a wikipedia page seems logical to warrant inclusion to me. It is helpful to readers to have an idea of good breweries in Scotland and winners seems to fit that bill. Ânes-pur-sàng (talk) 22:01, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
