Mario Bros.
editI've never seen Mario Bros. on a best seller list for the 2600, let alone in the top 10 ahead of Donkey Kong and E.T. Need a better reference to keep this one around. I'm removing it for now. Dgpop (talk) 15:31, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Yo, I really think the Guinness Book of Records qualifies as a decent reference, so I definitely think it should be reinstated. Andre666 (talk) 23:58, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
Very different list from different source?
editWhile looking up this list online, the first article I came across had a dramatically different list than the one shown here. For instance, Space Invaders is ranked number 5 on that list instead of 2, and several games such as Combat and Pole Position aren't even on this list. Given that the 2600 is long dead, I'm surprised that the two lists are so different. Should this list be changed or is this one correct? Jinkevin (talk) 16:28, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- I think the main issue is with VGChartz is that they can never state their sources on this material. It has been flagged as an unreliable source from the community after several discussions at WP:VG/RS. Andrzejbanas (talk) 19:40, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
