Talk:List of Wild Kingdom episodes

Combined list from here, from Definitive 50 episode DVD, and YouTube

I combined the list that I found here, the Definitive DVD set that I purchased, and all the episode titles that I found on the YouTube channel. I think the YouTube channel titles may be more than the 1963-1988 episodes but they should probably be included anyway since the Wild Kingdom entry includes the 2002 revival anyway. The spreadsheet is currently at 331 episodes.

I think numbering of seasons should be dropped and instead just use the year as the season. Episodes should probably be numbered in order by original broadcast date, since that's how thetvdb handles it. FozzTexx (talk) 01:27, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

I pulled copyright dates from the DVD title cards when they were available. I noticed that several of them have a copyright year of 1963 but appear to be produced much later. At least one had a copyright in the sixties yet Marlin Perkins was listed as "emeritus" meaning it was produced after 1970 when he had retired from the zoo. FozzTexx (talk) 16:00, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

References behind paywall

Any reference I use that doesn't have a link is behind the Proquest Historical Newspapers paywall. A very good resource, but the page numbers are sometimes impossible to read. AspenSavannah (talk) 16:35, 21 January 2018 (UTC)

YouTube and episode numbers

323 episodes are posted on YouTube with episode #'s. [1] Since it appears that Wild Kingdom posted the videos, I'll use these episode numbers. There are some discrepancies between air dates and numbers. AspenSavannah (talk) 17:33, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

• The numbers on Youtube include duplicates, are out of chronological order and very incomplete. Should they be renumbered in chronologically with count starting each season or cumulative episode numbers (S02E01 or S02E014). AspenSavannah (talk) 16:32, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
