'Undated' & 'In Development' Sections edit

I think splitting the undated films in to these two is a great idea, however more films should be in the 'In Development' Section, for example, Blade, Children of Blood & Bone, Snow White etc. Basically anything that hasn't started filming yet should be in that section, once they start, they should move to 'Undated' — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:5C89:BF00:D540:FAAC:6BBD:1846 (talk) 16:17, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

"Undated films" is the section for all films that have been announced to be moving forward (they don't necessarily have to be filming). A lot of the films, like most of the Marvel films, were announced to be moving forward on Investor Day so they should be in the "undated films" section. In development edit

I think we should add any years or months announced for films on the In development section NathanGamerdog (talk) 21:27, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Add an upcoming searchlight pictures film edit

Everybody's Talking About Jamie edit

I have a question/ Why is Everybody's Talking About Jamie not in the upcoming films section? It's a 20th Century Fox movie, and it's coming out on September 17, 2021. Just because it's going to be distributed (co-distributed for that matter) by Amazon Studios, that doesn't mean it shouldn't in the upcoming films section of this article. That's like saying that The Woman in the Window shouldn't be on this article because it was co-distributed by Netflix. I'm not even going to include Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised), as that is being co-distributed by Hulu with Searchlight Pictures, and as Hulu is a streaming service (mainly) owned by Disney.

So please put Everybody's Talking About Jamie back on this article, or remove The Woman in the Window and/or any other future 20th Century Fox movie that will be co-distributed by someone like Netflix or Amazon Studios instead of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, because this is basically misrepresentation of these movies made under Disney and its motion picture assets.

Release dates without films attached edit

Should we include a new section with the extra release dates that don't have films attached to them there are many according to this whatsondisneyplus.com article https://whatsondisneyplus.com/disney-releases-updated-theatrical-movie-schedule/ NathanGamerdog (talk) 13:16, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Inspector Gadget reboot edit

Why is there a dagger next to the title Inspector Gadget when it hasn't been confirmed to be a Disney+ original film yet? 70.27.107.222 (talk) 21:16, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Missing movies edit

Is there any particular reason why there are so many undated movies from Searchlight Pictures that are listed on the Searchlight article but not here or were they just missed and just need to be added here? CanePlayz (Jacob) (talk) 22:25, 12 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Where do we want to put citations? edit

It should be clear that we need to find a consistent location for the citations. As of now, since they are often times from the same sources, citations are sometimes behind the name of the movie and sometimes behind the co-production studio, but it's not consistent at all. So how should we do it from now on? CanePlayz (Jacob) (talk) 21:34, 18 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

I fixed the mistake on List of Walt Disney Studios films (2020-2029). All subsequent 20th Century Animation theatrical and Disney+ projects were released by 20th Century Studios. Animation365 (talk) 14:57, 14 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
The animated adaption of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild were 20th Century Animation’s only two Disney+ original films to be released by Walt Disney Pictures. 20th Century Studios and 20th Century Animation was involved for Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again, the seventh Ice Age movie and the third Rio movie for Disney+. All subsequent 20th Century Animation theatrical and Disney+ projects were released by 20th Century Studios. Animation482 (talk) 17:19, 14 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Spider-Man: No Way Home? edit

Despite the fact that it was distributed by Sony, I feel like Spider-Man: No Way Home should be listed here, as Marvel Studios heavily involved. 2600:387:15:914:0:0:0:5 (talk) 18:33, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

International Releases edit

I would really love if this page would only include Disney Studios films released in the United States. It is extremely confusing when this list includes films released by Star in South America or a film released by Disney only in Germany. Can we just stick to Disney, Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century, and Searchlight (and any others I may have missed) released in the United States? 2600:4040:1470:8F00:0:0:0:1517 (talk) 20:03, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I agree, the international releases bloat the page massivley, and very few of them are even notable enough to have their own Wiki page. They should be listed separately. Charleealex (talk) 17:38, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures international releases (Star Distribution, Buena Vista International and Star Studios) edit

In the Disney Spain website they have his own release schedule in PDF which in the page menu they are in the options (=) and then the "=" includes Películas (Movies in Spanish).

I don't know why Disney Latin America and Brazil websites didn't have the same PDF of their own release schedule as well.

In his YouTube Channel of Star Distribution Latin America and Brazil (formerly known as Buena Vista International Latin America and Brazil) had a film trailers for their upcoming movies in the Latin America and Brazil region.

Here of the link of their YouTube channels:

Star Distribution Latinoamérica: https://youtube.com/@StarDistributionLatinoamerica

Star Distribution Brazil: https://youtube.com/@StarDistributionBrasil

And the Star Studios label had a only film which is sheduled to be released in 2023 is Apurva.

Untitled Roger Rabbit sequel? edit

Why it not listed in this article? MaxietheFoxWiki (talk) 04:59, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Spider-Man: No Way Home edit

Spider-Man: No Way Home should be on this list. This is a list about movies made by Disney Studios, not distributed by Disney. Despite being distributed by Sony, Marvel Studios produced it, so it should be here. CyberAlexMM (talk) 20:40, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
