Withdrawal of baseball-reference.com reference proposal edit

I'm currently trying to decide on which reference should I use, Bluejays.com or baseball-reference.com. Crzycheetah told me to withdraw the baseball-reference reference. I just want to see other opinions. Put Support to support the withdraw or Oppose to oppose. Thanks for your cooperation. -- K. Annoyomous24 GO LAKERS! 03:42, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Support, while the Cox and Williams differences are likely just typos at B-R.com (an indication they are not double checking their numbers), it is odd that B-R.com does not include Warner and Rojas as acting-managers but does include Tenace's 1991 stint (but not his 1994 stint). Including/not-including them makes Hartsfield, Gaston's, and Martinez's numbers different between the two sources. There may be a technical explanation for this, but I'm inclined to go with the Bluejays.com count which counts who was actually at the games managing the players, and discounts those on sick leave. --maclean 04:05, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • Support I am sure we can find other sources such as newspapers that can verify the needed info rmation.--Crzycheetah 05:18, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
