Labeling of S04E15

edit

Basic story in a nutshell: Hulu changed the episode they were going to release as S04E15 semi-last minute from "So You Think You Can Finance" to "2 Fast 2 Serious". Since the change creates continuity issues and obviously wasn't released in the order the writers intended, that they should be listed in the table as per the intended order.

Just a few examples of this taking place elsewhere on Wikipedia include Arrested Development (specifically season one), Freaks and Geeks, Futurama and Undeclared.

There are many more examples on Wikipedia where intended order takes preference over broadcast/release order. Why should this article be any different?

Besides, MindyDrama keeps editing "So You Think You Can Finance" as S04E16 with zero source to support this claim, especially since an episode titled "Mindy Lahiri is DTF" is set to air on City in Canada next week - which is more likely to be correct.

UPDATE: "2 Fast 2 Serious" is S04E17.
City in Canada have scheduled the episode to air May 5th, making it S04E17. Since "Mindy Lahiri is DTF" is likely a direct follow-up to "So You Think You Can Finance", it's likely "SYTYCF" will be the episode Hulu releases on April 26th. This means Hulu's order will then match the international/intended order from S04E18 onwards.

Although the network City in Canada may have aired/ordered these episodes one way, the series is an AMERICAN series. As such, the preference should be how it originally airs or is intended to air on American networks, including Hulu. I have found zero evidence to support the claim that episode "2 Fast 2 Serious" is S04E17. Even if it was originally intended to air after "So You Think You Can Finance," it would be S04E16. Also, I believe that the production code should represent the way that the episodes were originally filmed and intended, rather than the listing. The listing is supposed to represent to those that have not yet watched or would like to know, the order in which the episodes aired and/or should be watched. It's extremely confusing for others to list them the way you would like to.

You don't seem to understand that they would have been released in this order if Hulu didn't change the episode they released as episode 15 last minute - this is why the episode aired in Canada and was released in Australia/New Zealand. You cite production codes, yet we have no production codes to indicate that they may suggest a different order - though if you have them, maybe you should refence your source and add them in. Also, production order doesn't always reveal the intended order - look at S01E13 and S01E14, they are two parts of the same story BUT the second part was filmed first.
